How to: Dress like a (Male) Celebrity
The trends and styles we wear are often defined by the celebs of our time. I will admit that I have always wanted to dress like one of my favorite Hollywood star every time I see them in magazines or randomly from a website, but what had always stopped me was when I found out the hefty price tag that’s behind their red carpet looks. As I did my own research through the web and other style tip blogs, I realized that having an A-Lister inspired look does not have to put a dent in your wallet.
First, here are some style tips to achieve that:
- Look great, feel great. Even if you could buy a $1,000 suit, it wouldn’t help if you didn’t feel comfortable and confident in it.
- Wear it fitted. Baggy or too tight clothes just make it look like a hand me down. Visit the tailor to get a made just-for-you look.
- Channel your inner celeb style. Try out different styles and see which one feels right. Stick with it. (See below.)
- Get a second or third opinion. If you aren’t sure, ask a friend!
- Change up your hairstyle. For low maintenance hairstyles, get it cut short and learn how to style it with hair wax.
- Don’t be afraid to accessorize. Men were always less inclined to layer on those fedoras or scarves. Play around with these on different outfits. If you are an accessories amateur, start out with simple accessories, such as sunglasses, watches, and hats.

- With a suit- he feels comfortable in a suit, which are often in very simple and classic designs
- With neutral colors- he sticks to wearing white, black, khaki, or gray suits, and hardly plays with colors
- With minimal accessories- he is hardly seen with accessories, if any it would be refined sunglasses or watches
- With his signature hair style- he always looks suave with clean shaven face and his signature George Clooney hairstyle
The Stylish & Trendy- Justin Timberlake
How he does it…
- With the newest trend- as a chart topping artist, he keeps up with the newest styles to wow us with ease
- With patterns and print- he is not afraid to wear patterns and often mixes up looks to stay fresh (Cool & Suave with Sporty & Casual), but he also stays true to his own style
- With minimal accessories- he knows just the right number of rings, type of fedora and sunglasses to wear for every outfit
- With different hairstyles- he finds great hairstyles that work, but switches it enough to keep his fans interested

How he does it…
- With a personal attitude- he is most comfortable in statement tees and pullovers, though he pulls off the occasional red carpet suits he wears
- With his own style- as a hip hop artist and rapper, he completes his look with basketball shoes and baggy jeans
- With accessories- he accessorizes with baseball caps, sunglasses, and chain necklaces to top off his hip hop look
